Maja and Erik met playing frisbee and it was love at first flight. 😂Honestly. I don't know how people put up with my humour on a wedding day but I am so grateful they do. However, I barely had to whip any of jokes during this stunning summer wedding as it was IMPOSSIBLE to get these two to stop making each other laugh and smile the whole day. We lucked out with the most ideal weather and just had sunshine and the right amount of August warmth to enjoy sunset photos at Three Bridges Event Centre. Nestled in St. Jacobs, Maja and Erik fell in love with this venue for the same reason I did. Waterfalls? Mature trees surrounding the property? A show stopping outdoor aisle? Yes, yes, and yes. This stunner of a wedding was only made better by the fact that their officiant wore a cape. I'm not kidding. Scroll down for photo proof. 👇
They picked the favourite colour scheme for the year of light blues, whites, and greens. It just screams fresh and light, light and airy, and totally chill - which is a perfect description of the bride and groom. Add in a classic car, a ridiculously awesome wedding party, and one of the coolest ways to do your first dances, and you have a very unique day as special as they are.
I'm so grateful that I was able to document this day for them. Fun fact - another one of my couples were in attendance at this wedding! Such a small world.
Congratulations to you both! I hope you treasure these memories of your day. 💌
